It's not immediately clear when Google Maps will roll out the feature in other regions, but it should happen in stages. While that may not be a large number given the vast network of roads in these regions, it should still cover most of the major toll booths and offer a decent idea about how much drivers will have to pay on their route. Google said that it had collected toll price information from local authorities for nearly 2,000 roads in the supported countries leading up to the feature's release. To reinstate toll routes later on, just uncheck the box. To do this, open the Settings menu (three dots at the top right) again within the Google Maps app after entering the destination, then tap ‘ Route Options.’ Users will then see the option to ‘ Avoid tolls’ under ‘ Driving Options.’ Check the box to bypass tolls. This is best for those who aren’t pressed for time on their journey, as avoiding tolls typically means going the long way. Google Maps users also have the option to be shown only the routes that avoid tolls entirely.
